EPC evolved from the dynamic combination of two generations of leadership, skill and accomplishment. Combining tried and true methodology with next generation technology in EPC, John and Baird Fischer created an organization that embraces integrity, creativity and placing clients interests first. EPC stays at the front of new material handling technologies. EPC is able to consistently offer forward thinking market leadership to its clients because of choosing talented team members and the best subcontractors.
John Fischer
John Fischer graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. He founded Solid Systems Engineering Co. in 1979 to provide and service processing systems in the mining, power, and primary metals industries. In October of 2008 the company consisted of five divisions. The company was acquired by a FTSE 250 Company on the London Stock Exchange.
In 1994 John Fischer started Air Control Science Inc. to focus exclusively on effective design and construction of pollution control systems for the power, mining, and primary metals industries worldwide. ACS performed projects on every continent worldwide. In 2007 ACS was acquired by a major international constructor.
John Fischer founded Engineer Procure Construct LLC (EPC) in 2016. The company provides design build services to the mining industry.
Baird Fischer
Baird Fischer has been exposed to material handling companies his entire life. Baird attended University of Colorado and in 2004 joined Air Control Science.
In 2017, Baird Fischer became employed by Engineer Procure Construct as Estimator/Project Coordinator. Fischer quickly assumed the critical roles in project management, technology advancement and business development. In 2020 Baird Fischer became a member of the LLC and was promoted to General Manager. Today, Baird is one of two Principals of EPC.
